The Mashuk Knowledge Center has launched an interregional analytical session "Youth Tourism Space" for participants of the All-Russian tourist Rally " Mayevka. More than a journey." It is attended by representatives of regional authorities responsible for the development of hiking tourism and youth policy, heads and employees of youth centers, heads of tourist clubs, including students, representatives of the regional branch of the Movement of the First. The event is organized by the Mashuk Knowledge Center in cooperation with the Rosmolodezha program " More than a journey "under the auspices of the project"Hiking First – more than a journey".

In March 2024, at a meeting on the creation of federal year-round resorts, Russian President Vladimir Putin proposed to pay special attention to the active development of tourism in the regions.

The Mashuk Knowledge Center and the Romolodezha program "More than a Journey" joined the implementation of this task. Participants of the two-day Interregional Analytical Session will discuss issues related to the creation and functioning of new tourist spaces, interaction in the field of hiking tourism, as well as the role of educating the younger generation through participation in hiking.

"Mayevka unites thousands of hiking tourism activists from all over Russia-mentors, guides, instructors, participants of the First Movement, young people and parents. Hiking is a unique opportunity to get to know your region better, see its memorable and protected places with your own eyes, get useful skills and learn how to work in a team where everyone has their own roles. And, of course, hiking allows you to get new emotions and impressions that remain forever in your memory, " said Grigory Gurov, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

The main goal of the interregional session is to develop a unified strategy for the development of tourist spaces on the basis of thousands of youth policy institutions in Russia. As a result, participants will offer breakthrough ideas for the development of hiking tourism in the country.

"The interregional analytical session in our Knowledge Center brought together 100 participants from 37 regions of Russia. These are activists of the hiking movement, tour guides, leaders of tourist clubs and all those who today influence young people, pass on their knowledge, values and norms. We believe that respect for the neighboring people, their culture, religion, customs and traditions, as well as a sense of patriotism, cannot be instilled without knowledge. Therefore, education and a developed system of hiking tourism are of key importance in the education of young people. Уверен, что вкупе это поможет культивировать уважение, интерес и любовь к своей Родине», – отметил генеральный директор Центра знаний «Машук», заместитель генерального директора Российского общества «Знание» Антон Сериков.

Он уточнил, что сегодня на базе Центра знаний «Машук» работает клуб «Пять вершин», который был организован выпускниками программы «Пять вершин гостеприимства». Он объединяет предпринимателей из Кавказский Минеральных Вод и других регионов России. Совместно участники уже реализуют целый комплекс проектов, направленных на развитие мощного туристического кластера федерального уровня.

«На ежегодном туристическом слете «Маёвка» наставники, проводники, инструкторы обучаются походным навыкам. Чтобы усилить эту туристическую синергию, мы проводим совместно с Центром знаний «Машук» аналитическую сессию, где проектируем новые туристские проекты, а также пытаемся понять, каким образом нужно развивать походный туризм. Сегодня одним из приоритетных направлений молодежной политики является молодежный туризм. Поэтому совместно с Росмолодёжью мы начали активно создавать на базе учреждений молодежной политики туристические пространства. В текущем году в сессии впервые участвуют не только любители походов и активного отдыха, но и те, кто еще ничего не знает об этом движении. По итогам двух дней мы создадим новые туристические проекты, которые внесут вклад в нашу масштабную работу», – подчеркнул заместитель генерального директора АНО «Больше, чем путешествие» Станислав Киреев.

Всероссийский туристический слёт «Маёвка» проходит в Пятигорске в третий раз. В этом году он был посвящен Году защитника Отечества. Участники покорили пять вершин Кавказских Минеральных Вод, развернули Знамя Победы и исполнили песни военных лет.
