On March 11, the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation hosted a meeting of the interdepartmental working group on youth policy of the Public Council under Rosmolodezh and the Public Council under Rossotrudnichestvo. Rossotrudnichestvo noted the active work of the Youth Movement and expressed its readiness to work together and develop international youth projects.

The meeting discussed formats for involving children's and youth audiences in the international agenda. Special attention was paid to the development of international youth initiatives and expansion of cooperation with foreign partners. At the beginning of the meeting, the participants were greeted by Igor Chaika, Deputy Head of Rossotrudnichestvo, and Konstantin Kolpakov, Chairman of the Public Council Commission for International Humanitarian and Youth Cooperation under Rossotrudnichestvo.

Deputy Chairman of the Management Board Marat Zakirov presented the movement of the Former at the event. In his speech, he stressed the high interest of children and young people in international projects and noted that the First ones have been actively working on the development of the International Association of Children's Organizations (MADO) for a year. In the course of this work, new projects are developed, working groups are held on key areas of the Movement's activities with the participation of foreign peers.

"It is important to note that the activity of MADO is already supported by ongoing work in the Movement of the First, competitions and projects are held with the involvement of international partners, profile shifts are organized during the summer wellness campaign, and trips of activists of the Movement abroad are organized. The movement is actively involved in the development of the Union State, and work is underway to organize tours of the Russian-Chinese children's and youth choir, whose performance will be timed to coincide with the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, as well as the end of World War II. As part of this program, in September the Russian part of the choir will go to China on a tour," said Marat Zakirov, Deputy Chairman of the Board of the Movement of the First. 

The movement of the Former actively develops an international direction, seeks to create strong ties between schoolchildren from friendly countries. The main goal is to bring peoples closer together through acquaintance with the cultures, traditions and national characteristics of different countries. An important role in this is played by the flagship project-School Clubs of Diplomacy.

School Clubs of Diplomacy is a global network of school clubs united by common values and joint socially significant projects. Their activities include online meetings between Russian and partner schools, where children and young people learn about each other's culture, the basics of diplomacy and international relations. In addition, the project includes conducting conversation clubs, online photo and video contests, quizzes, quizzes, as well as actions "Pen Pal" and "Secret Friend". In 2024, 130 schools from 27 regions of Russia took part in the project.

The start of the new season of School clubs of diplomacy will take place on March 17 in the Republic of Tatarstan.

The meeting resulted in the strengthening of cooperation between the Movement of the First and Rossotrudnichestvo. The organizations indicated their readiness to work together on international projects. This opens up new horizons for interaction and creating additional opportunities for young people in Russia and other countries.
