The Movement of the First will become a partner of the All-Russian video essay contest "Dreams of the Future"

The National Center "Russia" with the support of the Movement of the First, the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Russian State Library for Youth and the Council for Fantastic and Adventure Literature of the Union of Writers of Russia on March 10 launched the registration of teams for the video essay competition "Dreams of the Future". The project will help shape the interest of the younger generation in the work of science fiction writers. Thanks to the competition, work continues to revive public interest in designing the future, which was launched at the International Symposium "Creating the Future". The competition is held within the framework of the Decade of Science and Technology.
The movement of the First helps initiative children to achieve new successes. This work is important for the future of the country and unlocking the potential of the younger generation. During the competition, the Movement of the First will hold master classes for its participants, and the National Center "Russia" will be integrated into the All-Russian project "First in Science".
Teams of five people aged from 14 to 18 can participate in the competition. The guys need to record a video essay about the future that the authors want to create. The video clip must start with the phrase: "We want to create a future in which...". An important condition is the mandatory reference of the competition work to the works of science fiction. Специально для участников проекта Российская государственная библиотека для молодёжи и Совет по фантастической и приключенческой литературе Союза писателей России при участии издательской группы «Эксмо-АСТ» составили список рекомендованных книг, в которых могут найти вдохновение авторы видеоэссе. Список рекомендованных книг можно посмотреть на сайте конкурса dream.russia.ru. Загрузить на сайт видеоэссе можно будет с 24 марта по 24 апреля.
С 25 апреля по 19 мая экспертное жюри будет оценивать представленные работы по пяти критериям: на соответствие теме конкурса, качество технического исполнения, оригинальность, артистизм при подаче материала и использование научных фактов. В финал выйдут 20 команд, 6 из которых станут победителями и призерами.
Торжественная церемония награждения состоится в Национальном центре «Россия» 1 июня, в Международный день защиты детей. Победители получат ценные и полезные призы.
Литературный партнер конкурса — издательская группа «Эксмо-АСТ», официальная книжная сеть — федеральная сеть книжных магазинов «Читай-город». Партнер по социальному контенту — «ЮФ — твое медиа про чтение». Аналитический партнер — ВЦИОМ.
